Metairie Teen Accused Of Killing Father, Half-Sister In St. Tammany

St. Tammany Parish Sheriff Jack Strain has announced the arrest of a Metairie man in connection with the murder of his father, Jacob Middleton, Sr. and the elder Middleton’s two year old daughter.

17-year-old Jacob Middleton, Jr. was booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail Tuesday morning on two counts of first degree murder.

The Sheriff’s office received a call Monday morning from Middleton Sr.’s wife, who found the victims in their Covington area home.

During questioning by Sheriff’s office investigators early Tuesday, Middleton admitted to shooting his father and his half-sister.  He indicated that his actions were the result of, among other things, his hatred of his father for what he claimed was years of abuse and family violence.

Middleton is being held without bond.
